Live Mural Painting with Millie Pidwell

Something new is taking shape at The Village Green!

Join us on 24-25 March as local Tauranga mural artist Millie Pidwell begins painting a custom mural inside the restaurant. Guests are welcome to stop by, enjoy a coffee or bite to eat, and watch the artwork come to life during our opening hours.

Millie is known for her nature-inspired murals featuring flowing botanicals, native plants, and layered colours that bring warmth and calm to a space. This first piece will feature lush foliage and the native kōtare (kingfisher) - a bird found right here in our region.

The mural is part of an ongoing collaboration to refresh the space and add another creative layer to the Village Green experience. We love working with local artists and can’t wait to see this wall transform.
